What does Zangoa mean?

There ia a Bas proverb that says "non gogoa, han zangoa". This means that "where the mind goes, the legs follow". Zangoa wants to help you to get where you want.

What is Zangoa?

Zangoa is a search engine that allows you to find rural accommodations from its geographical situation and that allows you to see additional information from the area you are lookig for (photos, walks, BTT excursions, restaurants, cities, mountains, monuments, etc.).

Where does the additional information come from?

The images shown on the map come from Panoramio which allows to use their photos on other sites. The information from the nearby places of interest comes from Geonames.org, using the public web services.

How much does it cost?

Zangoa is a free of charge service for the travellers that are looking for rural accommodation and also for the owners that want to appear on the lists and on the searchings.

Do I have to register?

Probably there is no need. We want Zangoa to be useful, without barriers. The register is only necessary for the owners which want to add their rural accommodations.

I know a very nice rural accommodation that is not listed at Zangoa. Why?

We can only show those rural accommodations we have found on internet o those that have been registered by the owners.

Is the information of Zangoa precise?

For the rural accommodations we have taken from internet we have to trust on the information found. When the information is brought by the owners we try it is precise and updated.

About the situation on the maps, when the rural accommodation has been added to Zangoa automatically, it is placed on the city. If the owner signs in at Zangoa he can define the exact situation on the map.
